Emeralds are generally treated with clarity enhancement, but this is a rare non-oil emerald that has not undergone such treatment. It is a Russian non-oil emerald, which is rarely seen in Japan.
This non-oil emerald was purchased directly from the owner of a Russian emerald mine. Based on information from our supplier, it is handled as "non-oil," and emeralds previously purchased from the same source have been confirmed as untreated by gemological laboratory testing. Therefore, it is highly likely that this loose stone is also untreated.
Please note that we do not guarantee this item as "non-oil," and depending on the testing methods or criteria of gemological laboratories, trace amounts of clarity enhancement (such as Minor/F1) may occasionally be detected.
