Gemstone Origami

Let's create sparkling gemstones with origami.
This book introduces folding patterns for common gemstone cuts.
We received support for the creation and photography of the models from the University of Tokyo Origami Circle, Orist.
In addition to gemstone cuts, the book also features ways to fold them for wearing or display, making it content that people of all ages, from children to adults, can enjoy.
Following the folding instructions, we have included a mini-encyclopedia using high-quality gemstone photos curated by KARATZ. We have minimized technical jargon and difficult descriptions so that even those unfamiliar with gemstones or young children can read it with ease.

"The Little Book of Gemstones" is part of Liberal-sha's "Little Book Series."
Beyond the gemstone encyclopedia section featuring Japan's updated birthstones from late 2021, this book offers a deeply rewarding read. We share the charm of gemstones from every angle, incorporating KARATZ's unique perspective—including purchasing stories from Thailand and Sri Lanka, where KARATZ CEO Koyama frequently visits, and tips for photographing gemstones.
