Bellflower Cut
The " Kikyou Cut " is a style that can only be created by one person in the world, Mr. Yukio Shimizu, president of Shimizu Precious Stones .
This cut is first made up of a regular dodecahedron surrounded by 12 regular pentagons, and then five facets with ridges are cut toward the center of each regular pentagon. From there, further cuts are made to create a polyhedron with a total of 180 faces. This cut, which is completed through an incredible number of steps and delicate work, was named the "bellflower cut" after its shape.
