This is the Kikyo cut , which can only be created by Mr. Yukio Shimizu, representative of Shimizu Kiseki, who is the only person in the world to do so. For the Kikyo cut, first, a regular dodecahedron surrounded by 12 regular pentagons is used as a base, and a five-sided facet cut with ridge lines is made toward the center of each regular pentagon. From there, further cuts are made to create a polyhedron with a total of 180 faces. The cut, which is completed after a daunting number of steps and delicate work, was given the name " bellflower cut " because of its shape.
