Ruby

Ruby is the birthstone of July. It is a type of corundum, the same mineral as sapphire, and is a red gemstone. It is also said to be the representative of red gemstones, and has a long history of being cherished all over the world since ancient times. With a hardness of 9, it is the second hardest after diamond and is highly durable, making it a gemstone that can be enjoyed on a daily basis as jewelry.
