december birthstone

December's birthstones are turquoise , lapis lazuli , tanzanite , and zircon .

Turquoise is a gemstone with a unique blue-green color that is famous for being used in Indian jewelry. Some have a distinctive black tracery pattern called a spider web. High-quality products without mesh patterns are called "Sleeping Beauty."

Lapis lazuli , also known as lapis lazuli in Japanese, is a gemstone that was once widely used as a paint. It is also famous for being used in Vermeer's masterpiece, ``Girl with a Pearl Earring.'' Gemstones are made from a collection of multiple minerals, and those that contain golden pyrite are often likened to the night sky, and I think they are gemstones with a unique beauty.

Tanzanite is the gemstone name given to the blue to violet zoisite. It is also famous for its strong pleochroism, which shows different colors when viewed from different angles, making it an attractive gemstone that makes you want to collect many different colors and pleochroisms. Large crystals can often be found here, so it is also recommended for those who like large gemstones.

Zircon is thought to be the first mineral formed on Earth, and is a gemstone that has been with humans since ancient times. When exposed to light, it emits strong dispersed light (fire). One of its characteristics is that it exhibits a phenomenon called doubling, in which letters and facet edges placed underneath appear double.
