Alexandrite is often referred to as the "King of Gemstones." Its color change from green to red has earned it the mystical reputation of being an "emerald by day, ruby by night." This specific stone is from Brazil. Please use a red-light penlight to enjoy the color-changing effect.
This stone was purchased directly from the mine owner of the Hematita mine in Brazil while abroad. You can enjoy the unique color-changing characteristics of Alexandrite, which shifts its appearance depending on the light source. A GIA report is included. While inclusions may appear prominent due to 44x magnification, they are not noticeable to the naked eye.
