It was bought from a vendor who polished it directly from the rough stone, and it contains chamosite and schorl. As for the gem identification report, it is listed as "Quartz with Crystal and Acicular Inclusions" because current technology cannot definitively identify the internal inclusions as chamosite and schorl. An identification report from the Japan-Germany Gem Research Institute is included.
