[Available Sept. 12, 10:00 PM] Sri Lankan Silky Pink Sapphire 5.0mm/0.544ct Loose Gemstone with Identification Report

Sapphire is a famous gemstone that needs no introduction. Its mineral is corundum, the same as ruby, but all corundum that is not red is called sapphire. This is a pink sapphire with a sharp, vibrant pink hue. With a hardness of 9, second only to diamond, sapphire is a highly durable and stable gemstone that is easy to care for.
This stone was purchased as a rough gem in Ratnapura, Sri Lanka, and cut by Sri Lankan lapidary Mr. Sanje; it features high clarity and brilliant sparkle. Although it was purchased as unheated, it has not undergone formal unheated testing. Please note that while a laboratory report may state "normally, heat treatment is performed," this does not necessarily mean that heat treatment has been confirmed, but is often used in cases where testing to guarantee the stone is unheated has not been conducted.
