Ametrine allows you to enjoy both the purple of amethyst and the yellow of citrine. Both amethyst and citrine are types of quartz; the gemstone name is "bicolor quartz," and in Japanese, it is called "shio-suisho" (purple-yellow quartz). This is a highly transparent ametrine cut by Sri Lankan master lapidary, Mr. Sanje.
