Garnet is famous as the birthstone for January. In fact, it is a stone that comes in various colors, including red, yellow, orange, and green. True to its name, this is a "Mandarin Garnet" with a vivid, mandarin orange-like color. It is sometimes called "Kunene" or "Hollandine," named after the mining region.
This is a highly transparent Mandarin Garnet from Tanzania. It is attractive for its vivid, high-saturation orange color and has been carefully cut so that no color loss is noticeable even when viewed from the front. An appraisal report is included.
