Poudretteite is a gemstone that is primarily transparent or pale pink in color. It is also known as poudretteite (with varying spellings in Japanese). It is said to be named after the Poudrette family, who owned the mine in Canada where it was discovered. While there are many pink gemstones, this is a particularly rare stone among them.
