A moonstone that looks as if a spotlight is shining on its center. This bright optical effect, resembling the glow of the moon, is the hallmark of moonstone. A penlight was used for photography.
This is a moonstone from Uva, Sri Lanka, that was only recently mined. It is a brilliant moonstone, purchased as raw stone and polished into a custom cut by Sri Lankan lapidary artisan Mr. Sanje.
