Garnet, famous as the birthstone for January, actually comes in various colors such as red, yellow, orange, and green. This particular stone is a "Mandarin Garnet," named for its vivid mandarin orange color. It is also sometimes called "Kunene" or "Holandine" after its mining locations.
This Mandarin Garnet boasts high clarity and a vibrant color. Although inclusions may appear prominent due to the 44x magnification in the photo, they are not noticeable to the naked eye. A gemological report is included.
