[On sale July 12th at 10 PM] Malawi Moonstone 2.184ct Loose

Sale price¥13,800
A type of feldspar found in Malawi, Southeast Africa. It is characterized by fine, rainbow-colored streaks of light appearing within a translucent crystal. While general moonstones and rainbow moonstones are admired for the adularescence on their surface, the appeal of Malawian moonstones lies in the way the rainbow light seems to penetrate the interior. This iridescence is caused by light interference due to slight distortions and layered structures within the crystal, creating an impressive appearance with band-like streaks of light that extend in a certain direction. The contrast between the transparency and the rainbow colors is beautiful, and those with particularly good coloration are rare and limited in production. Please enjoy the unique play of light in each individual stone.
