Sapphire is a well-known stone. It is made from the same mineral as ruby, corundum, but all corundum other than red is called sapphire. This is the most classic blue sapphire. With a hardness of 9, sapphire is the second hardest gemstone after diamond, and is also highly durable and stable, making it easy to care for.

This is a blue sapphire from Madagascar cut by Sanjay, a Sri Lankan cutter. It has a vivid royal blue color. It has been carefully cut so that the color does not fade even when viewed from the front.
The inclusions are visible under 44x magnification, but are not noticeable to the naked eye. A certificate of authenticity is included.
