[Ref: 12564306] Brazilian Emerald Cat's Eye 0.582ct Loose Gemstone

Sale price¥22,800
Emerald, a stone famous for having been loved by Cleopatra. It is said that "an emerald without flaws is as rare as a human without faults," and indeed, it is a stone that inherently possesses imperfections. For this reason, it is standard practice to use oil treatment to make these flaws less noticeable. When light is applied, a chatoyancy effect (cat's eye) can be observed. Its expression, which combines both gentleness and freshness, is extremely captivating. The photography was performed using a penlight. The back of the stone is essentially unpolished.
This is a highly transparent emerald from Brazil.
