Paraiba tourmaline is prized for its captivating hues, ranging from vivid blues to greens. Its unique coloration is derived from its copper content. First discovered in the Brazilian state of Paraiba in the 1980s, it has since been found in locations such as Africa. In recent years, copper-bearing tourmalines from Ethiopia have also been gaining attention. In Japan, copper-bearing blue-to-green tourmalines are currently referred to as "Paraiba tourmaline," regardless of their origin.

This is an Ethiopian Paraiba tourmaline that we have just acquired in Hong Kong. For this selection, rather than focusing solely on clarity, we chose stones that showcase the vivid blue-green color and neon glow characteristic of Paraiba tourmaline.

CuO: 1.191%, MnO: 0.519%. This is a loose stone that can be appreciated not only for its visual beauty but also for the elements that create its color. In addition to the GIA identification report, it comes with a chemical analysis report obtained by our company.
*Some of the analysis data is hidden on the product page. Detailed results can be confirmed in the analysis documentation included with your purchase.
