They are well-known for appearing in almost every color except yellow (or yellowish-green), including red, orange, blue, green, black, and colorless. It makes you want to collect every single color variation. Blue spinel is particularly attractive for the sharp brilliance that emanates from its cool blue tone.
This is a Tanzanian blue spinel polished by Mr. Sanje, a lapidary from Sri Lanka. It features high clarity and a meticulous cut that prevents any color windowing when viewed from the front. An appraisal report is included.
