Myanmar Musgravite/Taaffeite (symbiotic type) 15.472ct Loose with GIA & ZGCL
Musgravite is a rare gemstone known to a select few. It is said to have been first discovered in the Musgrave Mountains of Australia in 1967. It has been less than 50 years since its discovery. Because its composition is very similar to spinel and taaffeite, it was reportedly very difficult for鑑別機関 (identification institutions) to identify until recently.
This is a very rare type of loose stone where musgravite and taaffeite coexist.
Both are known as rare stones, with limited distribution even individually, but this is a symbiotic type where these two species can be confirmed within a single crystal. It is not only a rare stone, but also a stone where you can enjoy a rare relationship.A sorting report from the Japan Germany Gemological Institute is included.
