Czech Aragonite 8.0mm/2.082ct Loose Stone

The Japanese name for aragonite is araishi (hailstone). It is so named because calcium carbonate is formed in the shape of small hailstones falling from the sky. Its Mohs hardness is 3.5 to 4, which is a little low. Its hardness requires caution when wearing it all the time in a ring or similar. It has a beautiful glass-like luster. This is a beautifully cut aragonite from the Czech Republic with a round cut of 8mm.
