Scheelite from California, USA, 2.666 ct loose, with certificate

Sale price¥15,800

Scheelite is generally found in pale yellowish-white to brownish hues, but colorless, white, gray, orange, and green varieties have also been discovered. It is known as one of the important ores of the heavy metal tungsten, and was once said to be produced in large quantities in Japan. It has a high dispersion rate, and depending on the cut, it can exhibit a strong fire similar to a diamond. However, gem-quality specimens are difficult to find in large sizes, so few are circulated as gemstones.
This scheelite is from California, USA. It was purchased in Tucson, USA. An appraisal certificate is included.
