Tanzanian Kornerupine (Prismatine) 0.413ct Loose Stone, Japan-Germany Exchange

Sale price¥39,800

Kornerupine is attractive because of its "pleochroism," which means it appears in different colors when viewed from different angles. It is one of the rare stones. Pleochroism is often seen in three colors, and some stones change color magically from blue to purple, green, or clear. It is said that the larger the stone, the more beautiful the pleochroism, but it is rare. This is a rare type of boron-containing kornerupine called prismatine. It is a loose stone with high transparency and brilliance. It is attached to the Japan-Germany Gemological Institute.
