Let's try gemstone polishing "Do-it-yourself rough stone polishing set" (for intermediate users: labradorite)
This is the "DIY Rough Stone Polishing Kit", born from the desire to experience and enjoy gemstones up close, with an activity that parents and children can do together.
Compared to other rough stones, this one has a higher hardness, making it recommended for adults who want to take their time and polish carefully [Intermediate level]. We have carefully selected Labradorite of a suitable size for polishing, ensuring that you can fully enjoy its schiller effect. Tools for polishing the rough stone are also included. This is a rough labradorite stone from which you can enjoy the schiller effect.
Since one side has already been rough-cut, you can enjoy the difference between the rough state and the rough-cut state. When polishing, you can try polishing both sides or just one side, as you prefer.
With this kit, you can immediately enjoy the experience of polishing rough stones at home.

【Contents】
▷Rough Stone: 1 piece in total
・Labradorite [Hardness: 6-6.5]
▷Waterproof Sandpaper: 2 sheets x 4 types
600 grit: 2 sheets
1200 grit: 2 sheets
1500 grit: 2 sheets
2000 grit: 2 sheets
▷Board: 1 piece in total
▷Diamond File: 2 pieces in total
・(White): 1 piece
・(Red): 1 piece
【Polishing Instructions】
*For more detailed and easy-to-understand explanations, please refer to the video.
1. After wetting the stone,
first, polish it with a diamond file. There is no functional difference between the diamond files (white) and (red) in terms of polishing surface. The (white) one has a wider surface, making it easier for children to use. Please use it when you want to remove a larger amount. The (red) one is recommended for polishing fine details.
2. Secure the waterproof sandpaper to the wooden binder and polish the stone in a "no" shape (circular motion) while keeping it wet. The smaller the number on the waterproof sandpaper, the coarser it is. Polish by switching from sandpaper with a smaller number to sandpaper with a larger number (from coarser grit to finer grit).
3. The process is complete when you have polished it to your desired extent.
【Precautions when polishing】
・There is a risk of cutting your hands while sanding. Please polish with extreme caution.
・Occasionally rinse off the abrasive residue that comes off during polishing with water, wipe away moisture with tissue paper or kitchen paper, and check the polished surface. If you continue polishing without rinsing with water, the abrasive residue remaining on the surface may scratch the gemstone. Change the water as needed.
*The photos are examples, and you cannot choose the color or shape. Please understand this in advance.
