Afghanite is a blue mineral discovered in the Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan and announced as a new mineral in 1968. It is a rare stone, prized for its vivid blue color and rarely found on the market as a gemstone. This particular afghanite has been shaped into a smooth cabochon cut.From the available lot, we have carefully selected stones with relatively few internal cracks and excellent condition and color. The average size is approximately 2.0ct. You will receive one of the 13 stones shown in the photo, selected at random.
