Kochi Prefecture Blood Red Coral Loose (6-8mm / damaged by water pressure during retrieval) "Multiple purchase discount available"
This is oxblood coral collected off the coast of Kochi Prefecture, a leading coral producing region in Japan.
Its deep, rich red color is highly prized among all corals, and is why it is called "oxblood."
These are old stock loose stones purchased directly from a coral dealer in Kochi Prefecture.
The stones are a convenient size of 6-8mm, allowing you to fully enjoy their beautiful oxblood color.
However, due to pressure from retrieving them from a depth of approximately 100-350m, they may have scratches, making them "B-grade" items. The color and intrinsic appeal of the material remain unchanged, but they are offered at a more affordable price than usual.
Limited to 21 stones. One stone will be selected from the photos and sent to you.
Please enjoy the unique color of natural oxblood coral in your hands.
*Although the photos make it appear brighter, the actual color is a deeper, richer red. Please enjoy the subdued color unique to oxblood coral.
