What is “cooled cracked dyed quartz”?
After heating natural quartz, it is rapidly cooled to create cracks, and the cracks are impregnated with dye. A "honeycomb" or "reticulate" dye residue is characteristic of cold-cracked dyed quartz. In addition to green, there are also red and other colors that are rarely seen.
