*Available for purchase during the October campaign.

Sapphire is a world-famous gemstone that needs no introduction. Its mineral is corundum, the same as ruby; however, all non-red corundum varieties are called sapphire. With a hardness of 9, second only to diamond, sapphire is a durable, stable, and easy-to-care-for gemstone. This piece is a rare, unheated sapphire from Kashmir.
This is an unheated Kashmir sapphire that was polished over 20 years ago. It features an impressive, deep blue hue. It also exhibits proportions characteristic of stones polished long ago, which differ slightly from modern cuts. With a depth of 5.87 mm, it has a cut that is deep in relation to its weight. Since we were able to purchase these Kashmir sapphires in a lot, we have made them available at a price that would otherwise be difficult to achieve. Please enjoy the unique character of this old cut, which has stood the test of over 20 years, along with its deep blue hue. Includes a GIA identification report.
