Musgravite is a rare stone known to those in the know. It is a gemstone named after the Musgrave Ranges in Australia, where it was discovered in 1967. It is a mineral closely related to taaffeite, and because it can sometimes be difficult to distinguish from other gems by appearance alone, it is a fascinating find for gemstone enthusiasts.
This is a Burmese musgravite sourced in Bangkok. While many musgravites contain inclusions, this piece is notable for its high clarity. You can enjoy its subtle, calm hue—ranging from pale gray to a hint of purple—along with its transparent brilliance. A gem identification report from GIT (The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand) is included.
