[Available 10/4, 10 PM] Synthetic Ruby 1.803ct Loose Gemstone

Sale price¥18,800

This is a synthetic ruby created using the Verneuil process, cut by Sri Lankan lapidary Mr. Sanje. It features a unique form with bold, irregular contours and complex, sharp facets. When it catches the light, a play of light and shadow appears within its vibrant red hue, allowing you to enjoy various expressions depending on the viewing angle. The Verneuil process is a long-standing method for synthesizing gemstones in which powdered raw materials are melted by a high-temperature flame to grow crystals. Synthetic rubies created via the Verneuil process consist primarily of corundum—the same as natural ruby—and share nearly identical chemical compositions, crystal structures, and hardness properties. Although not a natural stone, it offers the vibrant color and transparency characteristic of a ruby.
