It is a stone with a rich variety of colors, and due to its high birefringence, it possesses a characteristic known as "doubling," which gives it a brilliant, fiery sparkle. This is a green-hued zircon. This green zircon from Sri Lanka was cut by Sri Lankan lapidary Mr. Sanje. It has been carefully cut so that there is no color loss even when viewed from the front.
