Goshenite 6mm/0.866ct loose stone

This is a colorless and transparent beryl, also known as "Goshenite." Mineralogically, it belongs to the same beryl group as emerald and aquamarine and is also called "white beryl." While chromium turns beryl green to become emerald and iron turns it blue to become aquamarine, goshenite's charm lies in its clear transparency, which is created by containing almost no coloring elements. It is 6mm. Cut by Sri Lankan craftsman, Mr. Sanje.
