[Posted as 12563944] Colombian Trapiche Emerald 0.252ct Loose Stone
Trapiche emeralds, which display six distinct lines, are rare gemstones, representing only a tiny fraction of all emeralds produced. This pattern is believed to be caused by impurities mixing into the crystal as it grows, which then extend vertically with the crystal.
While most trapiche emeralds on the market come from the Muzo mine, this particular one is a rare find from the Cosquez mine. Furthermore, we have carefully selected pieces with a deep body color and beautiful patterns. These were meticulously chosen from a lot newly acquired for overseas markets and first unveiled in Hong Kong by Masahiro Shimizu, the "Emerald Hunter" familiar from the TV show "Matsuko no Shiranai Sekai."
