Euclase is named after the Greek words "eu," meaning "well," and "klasis," meaning "breaking." True to its etymology, it possesses perfect cleavage. It is a rare stone that is seldom found in jewelry-grade quality, partly due to its scarcity. It comes in a variety of colors, including white, colorless, pale green, pale blue, and deep blue.
