This is an unheated Kashmir sapphire that was polished in India quite some time ago. At that time, polishing techniques focused on preserving as much of the rough stone's weight as possible, so the cut does not prioritize brilliance as much as modern cuts do. However, you can enjoy the unique charm of an old cut. A GIA identification report is included.
