Kashmir unheated sapphire 0.350ct loose stone GIA

Sapphire is a well-known and famous stone. Its mineral composition is corundum, just like ruby, but all corundum that is not red is called sapphire. With a hardness of 9, sapphire is the second hardest gemstone after diamond, and its high toughness and stability make it easy to care for. This is a rare unheated sapphire from Kashmir.
This is an unheated Kashmir sapphire that was polished in India quite some time ago. At that time, the prevailing polishing method prioritized retaining as much of the rough stone's weight as possible, so the cut does not emphasize brilliance as much as modern cuts do, but you can enjoy the unique charm of an old cut. A GIA grading report is included.
