[On sale June 6th at 10 PM] Malawi Moonstone 2.201ct Loose Stone

Sale price¥15,800
A type of feldspar found in Malawi, Southeast Africa. It is characterized by fine, rainbow-colored light appearing in streaks within its translucent crystals. While common moonstones and rainbow moonstones are admired for the schiller on their surface, Malawian moonstones are appealing because the rainbow-colored light appears to be embedded within the stone. This iridescence is caused by light interference due to slight distortions and layered structures within the crystal, creating an impressive appearance with band-like streaks of brilliance extending in a certain direction. The contrast between translucence and iridescence is beautiful, and those with particularly good coloration are rare due to limited production. Please enjoy the unique play of light in each individual piece.
This is a Malawian moonstone with high transparency, exhibiting an iridescent glow depending on the angle. You can enjoy its fresh translucence and fantastic play of light.
