Quartz, known in Japanese as Suisho, is a familiar stone in Japan, but it is also a profoundly diverse stone with many varieties such as amethyst and citrine. This quartz, with its internal red "flower petals" that appear to be dancing, is called Tinkerbell Quartz or Pink Fire Quartz. We used a penlight to photograph the stone in order to clearly show the internal inclusions.
