Its deep, rich red color is particularly highly valued among corals, and is the reason it is called "oxblood." This oxblood coral was purchased directly from an oxblood coral dealer in Kochi Prefecture. It has been polished by skilled craftsmen in Kochi Prefecture.

*Although it may appear brighter in the photos, it is actually a deeper, richer red. Please enjoy the subdued color unique to oxblood coral.
