Its deep, rich red color is highly prized among all types of coral, which is why it is called "oxblood." This is an old stock rough purchased directly from a Kochi Prefecture oxblood coral dealer. This rough type utilizes the natural branch-like shape as is. Each unique form is a beautiful creation born from nature over a long period of time. The surface has a lustrous sheen, combining a smooth texture with a powerful presence.
