This is a highly transparent elbaite tourmaline/pink tourmaline, cut by Sri Lankan polisher Sanje. It contains copper (CuO: 0.2%) and manganese (MnO: 2.4%) and was extracted from the same mine as Mozambique Paraiba tourmaline. Its appealing pink color, high transparency, and beautiful brilliance from the meticulous cut are its highlights. The soft form of the cushion shape is also attractive. A sorting report from the Gemological and Jewelry Association of Japan is included.
