[Sale at 10 PM on May 22] GGG (Gadolinium Gallium Garnet) 0.511 ct Loose Stone

Sale price¥12,800

The history of diamond simulants includes synthetic rutile in the late 1940s, strontium titanate in the 1950s, and then around 1970, GGG (Gadolinium Gallium Garnet), also known as "Three G's," which is a cousin of Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (YAG).

This is a hexagonal cut gadolinium gallium garnet (synthetic) by Sri Lankan polisher Sanje. By increasing the number of facets compared to a regular hexagonal cut, a stronger sparkle is achieved. The meticulous and balanced cut ensures that there is little color loss when viewed from the front.
