[Sales begin April 21st, 10 PM JST] Euclase with Pyrite from Colombia 37.340ct Rough Stone, Gemological Association of Japan (GAJ)

Sale price¥15,800

Euclase is named after the Greek words "eu" meaning "well" and "klasis" meaning "to break." True to its name, it possesses perfect cleavage. Being a rare species, it is an infrequent gemstone, making it a rare stone. It comes in color variations such as white, colorless, pale green, pale blue, and deep blue.

This is a symbiotic type of euclase with pyrite. The addition of metallic luster pyrite to transparent euclase creates a striking contrast where different textures are integrated.

Euclase is known as a mineral with strong cleavage that is difficult to process, and rough stones that can be enjoyed in their natural crystalline state are highly collectible. The symbiosis with pyrite adds to its appeal, offering an "interesting as a specimen" quality distinct from single minerals.

A sorting report from the Gem & Jewelry Association of Japan is included.
