Cinnabar, known as the Philosopher's Stone. The history of cinnabar mining (辰砂, English name: cinnabar) is very old, and it has been used since ancient times as a raw material for mercury and as a red pigment. This is a Chinese cinnabar with a striking, rich red color.

This is a rare facet-cut loose stone for cinnabar. Since it is a material that is difficult to polish, skilled polishers have repeatedly tried and erred to finish it in a beautiful oval cut. You can enjoy the sparkle woven by the deep red color and facets. A JTL appraisal report is included.
