U.S.-origin Neptunite 0.162ct Loose Stone with Gemstone Report
Neptunite is a rare mineral named after Neptune, the Roman god of the sea, and was discovered particularly in San Benito, California, alongside blue benitoite. Once noted for its association with benitoite, neptunite from San Benito, USA, has also become rare due to the decreasing production of benitoite.
Neptunite is difficult to polish due to its brittle nature (perfect cleavage), making cut and polished gemstones (loose stones) very rare. An appraisal certificate is included.
