[Sale on July 18th, 10 PM JST] South African Sugilite 0.748ct Loose Stone

Sale price¥13,800
Sugilite, also known by its Japanese name "sugi-ishi," was originally a tiny, pale yellowish-brown crystal. However, it gained fame when Dr. Ken-ichi Sugi and Mr. Masanori Hisakuni of Kyushu University discovered a purple variety of sugilite. While small quantities of this gemstone can be found in Japan, larger crystals are primarily mined from the Wessel Mine in the Kalahari Desert, South Africa. It's a truly beautiful gemstone with an ineffable deep purple color.
