Tanzanian Zoisite 0.956ct Loose Stone

Zoisite is available in a wide range of colors. It was named after Sigmund Zois, a mineral collector from Slovenia. Tanzanite is actually a type of zoisite. Like tanzanite, its charm lies in its "pleochroism," where it appears to be a different color depending on the viewing angle.
This is a highly transparent and brilliant Tanzanian zoisite cut by Sri Lankan polisher, Mr. Sanje.
