The artificial gemstone that was circulated around 1970 was "GGG (Gadolinium Gallium Garnet)." Also known as "triple-G," it is an artificial stone related to Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (YAG).

This is a brilliant 4.0mm octagonal cut GGG (Gadolinium Gallium Garnet) cut by Sri Lankan polisher Sanje. It has a meticulous cut that shows no color loss even when viewed from the front.
