Sri Lankan Moonstone 1.487ct Loose

This moonstone appears to have a spotlight shining on it in the center. This bright optical effect, similar to the glow of the moon, is a distinctive feature of moonstone. The photo was taken using a penlight.
This moonstone is from the recently discovered Uva mine in Sri Lanka. It was cut by Sanjay, a Sri Lankan cutter.
