Silky pink sapphire from Madagascar, 1.050ct loose, GIT

Sapphire is a well-known stone. It is made from the same mineral as ruby, corundum, but all corundum other than red is called sapphire. This is a pink sapphire with a striking pink color. With a hardness of 9, sapphire is the second hardest gemstone after diamond, and is also highly resilient and stable, making it easy to care for.

This is an unheated purple-pink silky sapphire. It is a striking 1.050ct size. It comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by the GIT, an appraisal agency run by the National Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand.
